The Stringer family recently celebrated five years of service with Extreme Nazarene Missions. What an amazing adventure it has been (so far): Three church plants in three countries (Peru, Ecuador, Argentina), mentoring, guiding, and supporting twenty-nine church-pla
nting missionaries, hosting and/or leading fifteen short-term teams representing over three-h
undred short-term missionaries from many different states, seeing more than one-thousand people come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior, and so much more. It is such a blessing and honor to be a part of this church-planting organization. We have been given so much more opportunity for leadership, influence, and impact that we ever imagined. Our plans were so very small compared what God had prepared at a Cross-Cultural Orientation in Olathe, KS in late July of 2011. That was the springboard for this process that has produced so much in us and through us. To think of who we were then and how much we have grown now is quite overwhelming.
Extreme is celebrating ten years of ministry this month. The poten
tial and possibility that the ministry holds are without limit. The greatest single need that we have is for people to say “Here I am, Lord! Send me!” The more often that happens, the more places we can begin planting churches and the more impact the Lord can make in and through us. Anndee and I have plans to serve longer-term with Extreme and we are very excited to see about how the Lord will continue to work in and through us for His Kingdom work.
Starting today, Extreme is launching a 10 for 10 video series, highlighting the vision, administrative work, and field church-planting work of the ministry. Please take the time to watch them each day. They are short (3 or 4 minutes), and will do a great job of helpin
g you understand who we are and what we are about. The three church plants in which we have been directly involved, as well as one other in which we led multiple short-term teams (Ibarra, Ecuador) are featured on different days. Thanks for your support of us and the ministry, be it through prayers, words of encouragement or financial contributions. I hope that our family is a blessing to you, just as you are a blessing to us.
