Since May, the Stringers have been hopping! The extra eight weeks we had in the States weren’t what we planned, but we can totally see the hand of God in the change.
The short version is that we went to North Arkansas District Assembly, North Arkansas Kids Camp, Nazarene Youth Conference in Louisville, got to spend extra holidays with family and more!
Today, however, we woke up in Quito, Ecuador after a problem-free day of travel and are getting settled into our room on the Nazarene Theological Seminary grounds. We are so grateful for this temporary home while we prepare to move into our long-term home.
This week we will spend in meetings and planning sessions, finish up the preparations for the Medical Team coming to Ibarra, Ecuador next week and find a family rhythm in the transition. We’re also looking forward to meeting the Antofagasta, Chile church planting team that is also here on the Seminary grounds for training and catching up with fellow Extremies we haven’t seen in a while.
Next week, our family will head to Ibarra for the Medical Short Term Team. We’re really looking forward to working a Short Term Project all together and being with 40/40s (some of our favorite people on the planet).
For now, goodnight from the middle of the world!
